... heading home, leaving the rest of the shops for another day.

Sunday B had to work and then Monday it was back to the usual weekly routine for both of us. B has just started summer school this week, so she's planning on spending one day a week at uni, three days at uni and one day at home (like today :) )

Tonight G is heading out for dinner with some friends for work, while B has a farewell dinner in town for her current ...

Dinner is a delicious pair of crumpets, avocado on toast and English breakfast tea - yes we're ...

The end of the second month (weeks 7 & 8)

A travel blog entry by bethinetta on Aug 19, 2014

It seems so much longer than two weeks since our last post, but we're sure that's all it is!

To remind myself what has happened in the last two weeks, I always read the last blog entry and I make myself jealous of how much fun past-B & G had! Sad to say, this blog entry will not be anywhere near as exciting as the last one - no roadtrips, no abandoned vans and no exciting new discoveries. There will still be some excitement though, so please, read ...

    This city!

... attempting to speak platypus in Dutch. Don't ask, I don't remember. But it was a great night of conversation with a total stranger, which is what this whole thing is all about right? So far this day has also consisted of wandering around. I'm taking it easy tonight. I have the early nine hour bus ride to Canberra to endure. Luckily most if what I will see on the trip will be the beautiful Australian ...
