... which was so tender it fell off the bone, I ordered slow roasted lamb. It came blood red and as tough as any piece of meat I have ever tackled. I struggled through most of it and then complained to the waitress. She was horrified and offered me a free glass of wine which I refused, then a complimentary dessert which I declined at first but soon accepted. It was delicious and Bob and I had a great time laughing with our accommodating waitress, so it turned out to be a fun ...

'We'll just buy a car in Melbourne and drive up to Cairns and sell it there!'... Remember those words! Little did we know the umpteen rules when buying a car, the variations between different states, the difficulties in buying or selling a car that's registered in another state...the list goes on! Eventually, we have managed to stumble upon a car that's a wagon so we can sleep in it, sensibly in our price range, affordable to insure, a fair age but not with horrendous mileage ...

... shopping. Did I mention that mum and dad went back to the same restaurant that we basically all ate at every nite for yet another pizza on their final nite in Barcelona and managed to order themselves pizzas with pepperoni and pineapple? Honestly the guys must have thought what absolute weirdos. - London: so much history and so much to do. Just didn't disappoint. This will be the last blog entry for this trip. Will have to do it again for the next trip for sure ...
