    Well after our nite of car park camping which wasn't too bad really, we felt safe enough to sleep with the doors open so did that and get a reasonable nights sleep.. We woke up nice and early and went to check in but unfortunately our pitch was taken so we had to wait a couple of hours.     ... walked back up the hill, I got my first look at THE stairs, which were in fact a few steps built into a corner of the steep hill. You could clearly see where the van had chipped off the corner of the top step's tile. It became known as "Allen's Step." I then walked back down to the van and took a closer look at the van.
