... it started to rain and they had to close the ceiling doors. The docents were very knowledgeable about the telescopes. One was able to explain the difference between a telescope designed to look at the moon and one designed to look at the stars. (One is longer to "zoom in" more and see features, the other is wider to gather more light so the stars are brighter.) The other didn't speak English, but was able to answer my Spanish questions with Italian.While I wish it hadn't started ...

... that Prague is like a worn out prostitute, everyone has been through her. And not only is she showing her age but the parts you hoped would be pretty with age and experience aren't, they've been hollowed out and overtly flamboyant dressings have been slapped on over her to give her some semblance of class, but she's still that tired old ***** underneath. You almost laugh but she's too pathetic so in the end you just want to put down some money and leave...

... much shat ourselves because we didn't know where we were. We crossed the road and caught the same one the opposite was which luckily took us back to where we started. We waited for so long for the right one that everyone else ended up joining us which was good. Once we were in Prague it was lunch time so we all walked down the road to the McDonalds and got something for lunch. Once lunch was over we went out separate ways and the 3 of us thought ...

... we visit. They're small, have the name of the place on them, and easy to store in a backpack. They're usually fairly cheap. I've paid 8 euros (about ten bucks) for a fancy one in Germany, on down to 50 KC (about $2.50) for one in Prague. One of the vendors at the market had a felt covered board, about the size of a sheet of notebook paper. He had probably over a hundred pins on it.....most dating back to the communist days. I thought they were a really cool relic so ...

... they can indulge in the delicious local, food...yes, food. There are thirty statues on either side of the bridge, some of which are religious figures and some of Royalty.

We also saw the art exhibitions of Alphonse Mucha and Salvador Dali, and visited the Franz Kafka museum to satisfy our artistic sides.
