The castaways are back - hello to everyone,
The last few days have been busy, busy, busy.
Saturday we went to the old town of Trogir and had a look around before catching the ferry to Split. The old town of Trogir was quite cute and lots of little alley ways to meander around.

Today is our flex day. Do we stay in Plitvice or move along to the sunnier climes of Primosten? We prepared to get soaked during a morning hike in the National Park, and then off to the seaside to dry out. Sidebar to follow on the am hike at another time. Holy **** does swimming take a lot out of you. Good way to get some exercise and run out of breath haha. After swimming, I met my parents for supper near the resort. ... Franciscan monastery. Both the Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy and its adjacent church, the Church of Our Lady of Visovac, were constructed in 1445 and have existed ever since. Once we debarked, we were met by a tour guide who gave us a brief history of the monastery and then turned us loose to explore. We had 1/2 hour before we had to be back on the boat.
