... the stop was the thunderstorm which came out of nowhere and stuck about 10 minutes before we were due to be picked up. Lighting and thunder directly over our heads with torrential rain and even hail. Which was hard to believe as it was still about 30 degrees out. Everyone got soaked. The bus stank a little. Funny stuff. We arrived in Zadar, checked into our hotel and headed straight for the ...

I will try to update more often for my own sake as I'm sure there's only about 2 or 3 people reading this blog... Holy **** does swimming take a lot out of you. Good way to get some exercise and run out of breath haha. After swimming, I met my parents for supper near the resort. It was great, I'm really enjoying all the food. I eat non stop all day ...

    ... well.

It was here that I got yelled at for the first time (that I know of). Even though we had to pay to get into the park, you had to pay an additional 5 Kuna ($1) to use the restroom (known as Toilette or WC). I have always found this ridiculous (in Turkey you had to pay a dollar to use the restroom, which was just a hole in the ground. Grrr!), but I'll save my ranting for another time. Anyway, although Croatia ...
