Five hours has come and gone and we are still tossing our way across the sea and will be for another 2 1/2 hours apparently. Its turned into a bit of epic journey and although its more comfortable than a plane its still a very long time to be sitting around and we won't be climbing into bed before 11.30 tonight. Its quite a rough ride at the moment as the ...

The backstreets of the old town are lovely to walk through, beautiful flowers and pele obviously take care and pride in painting their buildings, however there is a snobbery about the place where dining is also expensive. Breakfast time: Fishermen throwing bread to the fish that the cats try to steal and the gulls try to catch while the Greeks and I have our coffee and bread. Walked to the church on top of the hill and back through the burbs. Stepped in what I believe was human poo along the way. The sound of recess at the schools. Went for a swim in an unprotected rock pool, had to hold on ...

... to retrace our steps back up to the Montasary before finding our car in the parking lot! What an adventure that was! (Had to pop some Advil or was it Aleve or maybe both) Afterward we challenged ourselves to finding 2 of the blue domed Churches we could see from the harbour in Ermoupoli. The weren't as impressive as Santa Clause's but still worth the while.
