      ... the artist haunt of Soller, and back to Palma. We hoped for entrance to the famous cathedral, but alas, our timing was off. Still we enjoyed the exterior and the medina of old Palma, including a visit to the 1200 ruins of Arab baths from Moorish times.

      ... a long, arduous day on the boat, we rewarded ourselves with giant ice cream sundaes before heading home. A great way to spend my last day on the island. Despite everyone feeling pretty shattered, they were all good enough to meet up later for my farewell dinner and drinks.       ... to contemplate my time here and start saying my goodbyes. For the evening, we had a quiet dinner to ourselves in a pizza place that had been recommended, and ended up trying out a few different bars afterwards (LAB, Idem, Prohibition) to see where would be best for my farewell drinks tomorrow.       After school today, James drove us to Coloni Sant Jordi, a pretty little port, for a bite to eat. We had intended to explore a nearby beach which was recommended by a local, but after having had quite a few days of exploring recently, we drove straight to Es Trenc beach instead. People had told me that this was their favourite beach on the island... It's definitely nice. A very long, narrow beach with nice sand and sea. However, it seemed to be having ...

      ... the ocean this time- it was beautiful clear water with little skeleton like fishes swimming around... a bit rocky on the floor in some places though- I always managed to find the rocks of course!

      After heading back to the hostel to collect our bags, we caught a cab to the airport, bought some chocolates for the office, got on the plane and then we were back in London... just in time for work on ...
