    Wow Mallorca, what an awesome place!!

    Its difficult to think of what it didn't have to offer. What did it have to offer? Beautiful mountain and coastal scenery, fabulous food, great beaches, historical market squares and ancient architecture, quaint and quiet villages and farms, friendly people.     ... pleased that 'Elf & Safety' had not reached this part of the world and that there were signs indicating that children could be thrown off this part of the cliff (see picture). We saw a couple approaching us with baby in a carry basket slung between them and we thought we were going to witness a ritual sacrifice. Nothing happened however and despite waiting for some time nobody threw ant children off while we were there. Better luck next time!

    ... she decided we didn't have time to check our other bag - the larger suitcase that actually has bottles of shampoo and conditioner, bottles of wine, and has been packed to be in the cargo hold. So the other one is already gone, but she can't check two because she hasn't seen the receipt to make sure we've paid for it. So the second bag will have to be taken to the plane with us and they will load it from there. Fine. (I forget at this moment about all the stuff ...
