The storms passed through during the night and when I woke up it was sunny, dry and already in the low 20s outside. As we left Dubrovnik we had some good views of the city and then we blasted along the road following the Croatian coast NW with magnificent views of the offshore islands and the inland hills and lakes and with lots of lovely bends. ... and in the warmest water we have had on the trip. We had a picnic lunch and walked the east end of the island, bypassing the nudist beach. We ended at the Dead Sea, an inland pool fed by the sea through underwater conduits and the Benedictine monastery, under renovation. We stopped for a drink at the local cafe before catching the ferry back to the city. ... t expect them to move over. I've ended up hugging walls to get by pedestrians, as they make no attempt to move to the side so you can both pass comfortably! as I write this I'm sat looking out across the sea (from the comfort of a bar of course!) it's pretty relaxing! although the tension is building around the streets of split for the split derby tomorrow! a game so big the sky sports app don't even do score updates for! more pressure on me to report ...

... the beauty of it ends. They've kind of ruined the park by making it so commercialised. It doesn't even feel like a national park. There are restaurants, souvenir shops and ice cream shops everywhere. There are also really annoying people with stalls along the walking track trying to sell you stuff. It really wasn't what we expected. And it was crazy busy. We decided to head back to Split for the afternoon. This was easier said than ...
