In the morning we went to the airport in Prague to drop off Tereza´s mum who was about to leave for New York. Thus, we separated from Tereza´s mum and dad for the next 10 months (hopefully we´ll meet in China in June 2014).

I think we have a full day ahead of us. I am looking forward to visiting Prague Castle. It was overcast yesterday, and Jose said it was raining the day before. Hopefully it won't rain too much today while we are out and about. But the temperature is lovely – even wearing long sleeves!

Now . . . if only the breakfast buffet would open and start serving coffee . . ...

At 7pm we met up with the rest of the group and walked to a restaurant that had been booked as another optional excursion. We got treated to a 3 course Czech dinner.. another soup.. followed by 5 different kinds of meat with potato dumplings and then a crepe on dessert!.. I don't think anyone was able to finish the main.. it was HUGE!!!
We were entertained the whole night with live Bohemian music and Polka dancing!! It was great. Later in the night, ...

The tour then took us up to the Gothic Prague Castle & the Cathedral that lies within its grounds. Did you know that Prague Castle, in all its grandeur, is listed as the largest ancient castle in the world by 'Guinness Book of Records'. ... furthest East I go as I am making the turn around back to Spain. I'll hit a few spots along the way, Frankfurt, Germany being the first, then I'll head to familiar territory (Switzerland!). Yep, that means I am missing out on Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, and even though it was most unlikely, no London either. Time... Where did you go? I shouldn't be too upset, I've seen seven different countries now! The road ahead will be interesting. Let's hope I make my flight ...
