    ... house, with a small village towards the back of it, protected by the walls. Exhausted at the top we discovered that they had installed an elevator that would take you all the way up. Joy. The walkway from the back of the palace to the path leading to the Spanish castle was closed (not sure if due to repairs or because of Easter weekend), so we took the elevator down to the street level.     ... point. We went again to the beach, but i just stayed under the shade of a palm tree this time. We ate at a beachfront restaurant and then headed home to Cordoba.

    Mijas has been my favourite part of Spain so far, and it was an amazing way to spend my second last weekend. Its crazy to think that this adventure is almost over. I've had a great time and can't wait to share more with you all!

    ... consuming them while looking out over the Med to Africa. It was the clearest we'd ever seen it. We could clearly see the Pillars of Hercules and quite a lot of the Rif Mountains to the East although there was a yellow pollution band at sea level.
