... This historic town started as a port and has had about 2,300 years of continuous occupation. Apparently it is the best preserved Romanesque-gothic complex in Central Europe, which was impressive to see when wandering around. But I really think that Trogir's party-piece is it's location, which was impossible for me to capture from ground level, so I've included an aerial photo. Nice piece of real estate, I say!

... we were inundated with retirees in sneans. Therefore we bypassed town and headed to the main beach. Again not like a NZ beach, there is no sand, no surf, tons of people and bars right on the beach. However it had a good view of the walled city, and an excellent place to watch people. There were some very good looking men in speedos. The water is gorgeous wherever you are on the coast in Croatia and we had another swim.
