... as we transversed the canals, and the Grand Canal. It was a memorable experience.

For dinner the hotel recommended La Feluca, a local restaurant. It was okay, but not great. We were back in the room by 9 pm. Tomorrow we have to meet the group at 9 am. We've already met half the group at breakfast. Those that did not take the pre tour would all be arriving today.

In total we walked close to 22 miles since we arrived three days ...

... br> As we were riding along the Grand Canal, we passed a very lit up restaurant filled with people, even in their outside dining area. Jeff decided he wanted to eat there. Now Jeff doesn’t eat outside. Ever. Anywhere. And he had been freezing all day so I was very surprised. We knew we could easily get back to this place and it seemed they had plenty of outside heaters – at least from the boat it seemed that way.

... spilled over into a side market. There were some fish, and other seafood that was unfamiliar to me but was so very interesting.

Decided to buy ourselves some shrimp and fix an shrimp alfredo with fresh pasta. The Rialto market only runs in the morning and so was a very busy place. We went to the Rialto market twice buying veggies and shrimp and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
