... Ouch, yep, lost at sea were all our rain jackets and selfie stick... Did I say stick. Yep copped a absolute mouthful for losing tans lulu lemon jacket. Fingers crossed nothing travel insurance won't cover. So it was back to Venice and to dump the kids at the hotel so tan and I could see if we could retrieve the bag.. Got to sleep in late today because we just planned a leisurely day walking around the city. We originally were supposed to take a day trip, but that has been postponed to tomorrow.

On board the 737, hideous in its yellow and purple interior, the flight was smooth and 90+ mins later we were landing in Treviso. Now it's 9:00+ Euro time and we felt as if we'd been on the go for ages. Treviso is a small airport and we quickly passed through security, the toilets and bought our recommended ATVO bus ticket transfer into Venice.

Also, Venice was built by a group that was not very well liked by the mainland Italians, so they were sent to this marshy land, which became Venice.
