    ... the sea. At the end of this street was the designer footwear shop 'platypus' Andy fondly remembered for getting his favourite flip flops from last time. These are still worn, but as so old & tatty I wouldn't let him being them this time. He went in to check out a replacement pair, but I think the price tags put him off & the exchange rate isn't as good as it was way back then.     ... about Sydney, there's also a lot I could do without. It's very busy; there is a ton of traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian (although these do combine for a lot of amusing road rage). That said, there are a lot of parks, generally active lifestyles, and the city's really nice when you're not trying to avoid being hit by cars. - Stayed in Kings Cross for the first few nights.     ... when one staff member pulled out a 3 foot giant crab and placed it at our feet! Seeing Natalie's bare toes it processed to try and scuttle and chomp on them! After much squealing and girliness (alas by me, not Nats) we escaped this room too and headed home to change.     ... also heard the history of the design and building of the Opera House. By now we were in need of a sit down ..so walked along to Circular Quay and caught a ferry back to Darling Harbour. It was late in the afternoon and getting dark by the time we got back to the hotel.

    We now have been upgraded to a large room with a view over the harbour which is lovely. Tonight we had our dinner at the hotel as we had had enough walking for one day!
