    ... for dinner. Andy’s abroad program organizer was throwing a celebratory dinner for the end of the semester, so to Manly we went.

    We wined and dined in the company of all the good friends Andy made over the course of
    his four months abroad. At points we laughed so hard we had tears in our eyes. It was a great last night!

    ... 2 miles until you get 15-20 miles outside of the city. I’m not sure if that’s just this particular area or how most cities close to the water are.

    We finally arrived where we will be staying for the next 4 days around 11p. Tomorrow is a free day, and we are going to get out and drive along the coast some. Right now though, we are in dyer need of some sleep without a bunch of hoodlums waking us up every 5 minutes.

    ... day. We ended up going to Bondi Beach. Which is probably the most famous beach in all of Australia. I talked to the guy at the front desk and got directions on how to take the bus out to the beach. Luckily, even with my no sense of direction quality, we were able to find the bus pretty easily. We got down to Bondi around 11am and spent all afternoon on the beach. This is a great beach to surf on, so I ended up "hiring" as the locals say, ...

    ... Eventually I made myself a rye and coke and chatted on skype with mum for an hour.
