... big smile & great excitement, before we had cuddles with everyone, although Ollie had to wait for his as he'd fallen asleep! It was an incredibly hot afternoon, particularly on their verandah, so we were soon on the cold beers & had Ollie stripped to his nappy (I hope he doesn't think when he's older that we never dressed him; it's amazing how many photos he is without clothes!). The Guhas arrived about 1pm ...

... out the water as a shark in the area! When we arrived all swimmers and surfers were back in the water. I definitely wasn't getting in!! We walked the beach walk all the way round to Bronte beach which is a bit quieter. The walk was great. It was a bit grey but still a great view. It was absolutely boiling and there were loads of people about. For some reason I'd expected it to be really quiet and for everybody to be ...

The weather was not beautiful - rather cloudy & requiring a fleece (in our opinion) but this did not deter the beautiful people strutting their stuff on Bondi beach whether it was building their muscles on the bars by the beach, showing off their bronzed bodies or show off surfing. We weren't doing any of this! Nia thought the waves were pretty good & wanted to hire a board. We walked some of the Bondi to Coogee Ocean path ...

... Meandering along one of the precincts passing a bloke playing Christmas tunes on a glockenspiel, we sat at a nearby pastie cafe called Cousin Jacks for steak & ale and chicken & mushroom pasties to fill the hole in our bellies whilst watching mr tinkle town. Having the hot sun burn us as we ate, we moved on into a couple more shops finding a few more best buys for ourselves. Not intending on doing anymore shopping we promptly headed to the ...
