Both a little hungover this morning (Davina especially!) we had a bit of a lie in and chilled out. Once we were both awake enough, we face timed our families to wish them happy new year. Felt odd though, as everyone was still in 2014! We had seen the fireworks, seen in 2015 and gone back and slept, and the UK was still in the last year! One of the most fun elements of travelling for some time, and far away, is the odd time differences :) Back to 2015 in Sydney, we got dressed, and on ...

Morning wake up was 8am, enjoying a lazy one in bed for an hour before surfacing with my cinnamon coffee on the balcony, blue sky attempting to break through and very humid with it. Taking our time to get ourselves together I cooked a bacon sarni for Andy, whilst I devoured a chicktikka wrap, to give us strength for our intended rock climbing & revisiting the place where we had our photography pictures taken many years ago. Checking in with Poppy and making our ...

I decided to head down to Bondi Beach nice and early! No point in wasting the day! Not many left in this hot weather!! Bondi beach is beautiful! Great spot! And today...huge waves!! Biggest I've been in yet! Swam for quite awhile and made myself relax on the beach after! And made my mind relax! You can really get perspective of things when you actually stop over thinking it! Haha imagine that! You all know me well enough to know what I'm like! ;) I make ...

It's true - and unbelievably we received a standing ovation from the Sydney Philharmonic Orchestra and a 200 voice choir! We managed to get tickets to Carols at the House and at the end of the performance, the assembled musicians applauded the audience for singing their parts so well! So, we did actually sing at the Sydney Opera House- and how many people can say that! The day began with a wander through a ...

... Poppy had the mozzarella, tomato & basil flatbread & I went for the small but chunky beef fillet with crispy mushroom risotto. All tasting each other's, it didn't take long for us to devour the lot. Moving to a comfier seating to finish off with a night cap and another reminisce. We got back about 9pm, all tired from today's trekking. Having a coffee, poppy couldn't be bothered to walk home so hailed a cab from the end of our drive. When Andy came back from ...
