... needed to make a big sacrifice. The brothers asked what, and the answer was they needed to sacrifice one of their wives by burying her alive in the wall. The wiseman went on his way and the brothers talked it over. For the good of the many they decided to do the scarific. ... the view and take heaps of photos - we freshened up and headed out to explore this amazing city! (And get food haha)

Well if you've ever been to Dubrovnik, I'm sure you'd understand when we say how amazing the old town is. It is breath taking, and the shear history, age and beauty of the place is just out of this world. Gary and I could not believe we were actually there, the views were just wicked!
We stopped for lunch at a local ...

And there, it was a major shock. We had just spent a few days in almost empty places, all peaceful and quiet, and we found ourselves in front of double lines of buses unloading thousands of tourists into the old city: the season of the large cruise ships had just started! They were almost all pensioners, so the streets were blocked as soon as there was a step to climb, and the soundtrack of our visit was the noise of walking ...
