Well the big day has arrived. The fIrst day of full retirement and we are off this afternoon to the UK and USA for seven weeks.

We are both a bit below par. Averill has an injured foot and James almost fully recovered from a bug.

... in a bit if traffic, we got there only to realise our van wouldn't fit in any of the parking so that was a no go. We then headed for the Olympic park baths. Finally made it there and there was an Easter show on so the swimming baths were closed. ... so we had to try and find anything we needed in the dark. Annoyingly we had to check out by 10. As much as we loved Base Hostel and Scary Canary Bar - it was quite expensive for an 8 bed (40 ish dollars each) and we found a room for 50 dollars each for 2 nights in a 4 bed dorm in a hostel called 'Chilli blue backpackers hostel.'
