... exhausted).

After a walk about (I found Starbucks - the shining symbol of US friendliness), grabbed a bite to eat at the hotel and much needed wine and turned in at 8pm for the evening.

Looking forward to Day Two - heading to Featherdale Wildlife Park in a few hours to hang with Koalas and Kangaroos....TONS of pics to come!!

... our itinerary and decided that 3 weeks isn't long enough after all. We will have to make some terrible choices about what to see and what to miss. Still that is next week's dilemma. ... the tour was over, so after "tipping" the guide, we contemplated grabbing some public transit back to the area where our hotel was, some 2.2 km away. In the end, we decided to walk, fearing that we'd miss something if we rode. Let me tell you, we were two sore and weary campers by the time we arrived at our hotel. An app on our iPhones showed that we had walked more than 11 miles.....21,849 steps!
I think it's safe to say that we had no problem falling ...

Rocks Market and Luna Park

... and we alighted right at the scary clown face mouth entrance to Luna Park. Rides were via a wristband - Sam wasn't fussed about going on so the kids and I got unlimited bands. There were 12 rides in the park. The park reminded me a lot of the pleasure beach at Great Yarmouth years ago, though much smaller. The first ride we headed for was straight from Skegness though - the Wild Mouse, a rollercoaster with 2 people in a car that zipped round the track ...
