June 1 Up at 5 am to catch the van at the train station with Michael, we tried to catch the later van but it was full so they took us at 7:00. Nice guy and because we did not have to make any stops for other passengers we were at the train station in Ostrava Czech Republic in 2 hours.Got on train, awesome cabin with 6 seats and only the two of us, at least for a while, then Lucas arrived, he is only 20, but because he has done a lot of travelling and studying abroad, ...

... extra day or two to check it all out (which is big for me since I feel most cities CAN be accomplished in one day if planned right).

4) The food is...Okay. Had dinner at the Czech Republics smallest brewery and had classic Czech dishes and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't that great. The beer however was delicious! (see photos of food...the main dish tasted pretty much how it looks)

Day 21 Although I am disappointed that I missed out on last nights pub crawl, it meant that I was able to wake up early and go on the free walking tour of Prague. We were picked up by our tour guide and went for a 3 hour stroll around the city learning all of the history and saw all of the important landmarks. It was good to be with a guide because the tram drivers purposely try to hit pedestrians because they are not considered responsible, and they get 3 days ...

... like, sadly most of these children, like the rest of the Jews from Prague did not survive, but a teacher at the camp had buried their art work in a suitcase at the staging camp.

We enjoyed some of the Czech food from food stalls set up in the centre of town; all sorts of sausages with a sort of sweet cabbage are very popular, we also tried some of their chips which are like potato curls that are deep ...

... our friend it not only tells time but tells of some celestial positions as well) and then went to another square that has tons of food stands and had dinner! We had bratwurst, Prague sausage, sour kraut and potatoes and chicken kabobs! Delicious hot food! For desert we chowed down on chocolate and banana crepes and this bannock/churro thing which was basically dough rolled on a stick and cooked over coals, then brushed with caramel and rolled in sugar ...
