... so Travis said enough was enough and we bought the sails down. Not two minutes later we were hit with our first and last storm of the trip. It came in super fast, like unbelievably and I was actually a little scared. Afterwards Travis said the sails would have been torn to threads if we hadn't got them down when we did - super close call. Everyone dispersed down under deck while Travis took care of business up the top. He was calm with a huge smile on ...

... named Gullfoss Hotel. After securing a room, we decided to drive toward Fludir and check out the hot springs. We found it but it was fully occupied; obviously not a secret or exclusive location. So, we passed it up and returned to our hotel. The views around this area remind me of big sky territory. Although it was a palace, the word "palace" conjures up completely the ...

A beautiful disaster

Our last free day in Split was hangover free surprisingly! We had a nice sleep in and then found a little cafe that made the most amazing club sandwiches and fresh juices. We went to do our washing but the laundromat was so full we wouldn't of gotten our clothes back for 2 days so instead we went out for a nice dinner and then walked to a shopping mall to watch the Hangover 3. The movie wasn't the best but doing normal things like that whilst you're away is always nice.
