... crowds. Today started leisurely with a wide breakfast buffet. We then drove over to the coast passing a geothermal-active area, by the film location for Flag of our Fathers Iwo Jima flag raising scene, and a coastal village famed for slated cod, ending at the Blue Lagoon. Our package self drive package included admission and a towel. We enjoyed the opaque blue water with about 100 other people. It was nice, warm and relaxing. We tried the steam bath but didn't last long. ...

... not get to work... Eventually we found a nice woman at a travel agency who called the woman. She said she would be there in a half hour later, over two hours after we arrived, turns out she thought we were coming in at 6:30pm. Not the best start to our Split experience, but all melted away when we saw our home for the next few days. We had an apartment with a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, one with a sauna and a washing machine! That was my favourite part! I could do laundry for ...
