      I'm a bit behind, but lets see if I can get everything up to speed in two entries.

      I got into Split as I mentioned and found a room in a hostel. Got up in the morning around 8:30 and was ready to head out around 9:30 or so. I discovered that the bus to Dubrovnik takes over five hours, so there was one leaving at 2 and then the next was at 3:45. It would have been a beautiful cycle ride too along the coastal road, but common sense prevailed. As we got on the bus, we asked for a return ticket and the driver asked for 26 kuna so we paid and pocketed the ticket in a safe place for he return trip.
