      ... decided to sit and have a long lunch together rather than negotiate our way into Split when Leja felt uncertain iof the roads to take.       ... nice and she was very welcoming I did not feel entirely at ease staying there, it felt like a huge intrusion of her privacy -she even had her food in our fridge because she was cleaning hers! Of course it was raining there too so we spent much of the time hiding in shops and cafés. We did manage to climb the bell tower though and hike to the top of Marjan Park which had gorgeous views.
