Hvar is on the most westerly edge of the long island. To get off it we first had to drive along the winding and largely un-guardrailed road. Our little car zigged and zagged while the tour bus following us ventured VERY close to the edge of the road often tipping its rear slightly over the edge. We thankfully all made it to the east coast safely.

There was a short ferry back to the mainland and we were the 2nd car in line. ...

... unheard of for a crawl on a Sunday night in Split. It was lucrative. I was walking one of the crawlers to the convenience store when I ran into Stef, the Belgian guy that had hung out with us in Brac. He came over and hung out with us on the crawl for a while. Reece had decided to stay in Dubrovnik and Molly and I were going to continue on to Montenegro, so it was our last night together. We walked home after the third bar and fell asleep both of us in a twin bed in Tasha's room.

... Dubrovnik universally accepts Euros for everything except the walk of the city walls. By this point, Bob J. doesn’t question the fee. He’s hooked on what is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Up the hundreds of steps we go – and we walk the entire circumference and the view of the sea is amazing. Everything is one big “Kodak moment”.

... as we arrived at the ferry terminal at the south end, the ferry was loading, and ended up overloaded with cars left behind, us being the third. Oh well, we are used to that from BC Ferries, and it was a much more pleasant 2 hour wait than the usual BC Ferry terminal, with a quaint tiny seaport to have coffee in.
