... comfortable either. Jumping into arctic cold water made me feel as though my diaphragm was collapsing, but the adrenaline of the jump kept me going.
Croatian countryside was gorgeous. I felt like I was in Yosemite for parts of the journey and then Hawaii for others. The water was astounding clear and the beaches were lovely.

  • Teeny tiny cabins (although ours was biggest)
  • Storm in Hvar first night.
  • Everyone sitting up on deck chatting, reading, drinking, sunbaking.
  • Swim stops, including the one with all the floaties.
  • Our boat constantly rocking insanely even when docked and calm water and when no other boat rocking.

    ... the line to pull the dinghy ashore, rather than organising the oars. In for an early cold beer, octopus salad, mains of squid stew and sea bass, tuna steak for Ursula, beans, salted anchovies and something else for Doug. It is our shout to thank Doug and Ursula for having us on their boat, and such a great trip. It is fairly cool, so have an early night after a long day sailing in the very hot sun.

    ... féré le bateau. Coût d'entrée au parc national 90 kune (E 12,50 par personne) ferry aller - retour compris.

    Le matin le 5 Juillet nous avons visité ce parc merveilleux avec des chutes continues et possibilité de se baigner en bas des chutes. Il était dur de nager contre le courant. Une véritable gymnastique pour les muscles des bras !
