... No major castles or churches perched on high, much to Chris's relief. There was one little island near where we were anchored that was home to a "unique breed" of lizard which has evolved there. So we went lizard spotting but couldn't work out what was "unique" about them.

We left Cape Caccia, Sardinia at 0600 on the 14 August and had an uneventful motor, motor-sail, motor, sail, motor-sail, motor across to the first of the Balearic Islands.
