        ... hitting the start boat. With the very soft breeze and slow boat speed, by time we started we where 10 minutes behind the fleet. With some excellent steering and sail trimming it didn't take long before we had passed half the fleet in a dieing breeze. Kevin noticed that we were sailing into a very calm patch of water ahead of us, so we tacked away 90 degrees from the rest of the fleet and away from our destination to where we could see stronger wind.
