Once on the cruise, we setup for VOR DME arrival at runway 29....a fair amount of traffic was noticed at Warsaw, but arrival was uneventful...
We performed the approach on autopilot until 8nm and then took over manually....once again very cold outside, and strong winds (43 knots down to 5000ft) but it was good to get a manual landing under the belt!

16 hours in Warszawa
... started. But we will be back in Poland in a few days, and will be 8 hours ahead until we get to London in July, which will make skype calling a little bit easier. Anyway, it turns out that about 1/4 as many people in Poland speak English then in the Baltics. By writing out train stations in Polish spelling (Warszawa instead of Warsaw, Lwow instead of Lviv) and ample hand gesturing, we managed to get tickets on the night train to Lviv. ...
