A little dated but very comfortable and clean and amazing views of the sea! Would definitely come again! And that is after one day. Staff very helpful and caring.

The apartment was fully equipped with dishes, fridge, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. It had a gorgeous balcony from which we could see the ocean and look over the 3 pools in the apartments.

The bar with food was not impressive, so we only got drinks there, but there are great restaurants close by and a grocery store for home cooking.

I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

... matter. We walked into the small town pear he's on the hill will streets going down to the river and harbour. Pretty churches and loads of jewellers. One small chapel was hosting a funeral. On the way back we got caught up in the tail end of the procession there were so many people the chapel could have been three times the size and not fitted them in. ... the day. I dont think they hunt at night because there is nothing to hunt here. The Portugese have shot everything that moves (legally restricted to Sunday morning ) for the last 600 years.

But there are also the free roaming pampered pooches, if that is not a contradiction too difficult to portray. The hairdresser has one like a small square furry toaster without legs that roams all over, right up to castle. Another one clearly gets kicked out, in ...

... couple who wolfed down their food as eager to get away as we were. Manuella who’d avoided eye contact all night had nodded off in a chair leaving the waitress to give us a drink on the house. Maybe it had taken her that long to remember Jose, but we’ll never know, she was still unconscious when we paid the bill and tiptoed outside. ''Text me when you’ve been to the restaurant'’ Jose had said. But not knowing what to say we didn’t bother.

... many tourists. The caravan park we booked in was very close to the town centre, a 10 minute bus ride with the bus stop outside the park. ( love that ) After setting up and having some lunch we caught the bus into town to have a look around. What we found was very different to what we thought it would be. It would have to be the tackiest town we have ever seen. Due to its location and the warmer weather the area caters for tourists to the extreme. ...
