I can’t recall what price he started at, but I was able to bargain it down a little bit to N 2,000 ($12.27) to charter the boat and N 800 ($4.91) for the tour fee. ... ATM in *****ia because *****ian banks apparently only issue debit cards with a gold smart chip in the center. The ATM machines will not accept any card without such a smart chip. The hotel staff asks if I have any U.S. cash and I said, yes, $50. They offered to exchange those dollars for naira at the rate of 158 to the dollar; which is not bad since the official rate is 163 (and it was better than the 155 rate a bank gave me yesterday).

Saturday. happy new years. lets go climb an epic mountain!! (photos are on janices camera ill get them on fb asap). heh heh the guide said it may take 3-4 hours, but me n Jan did it in 2hrs 20. (the caves were meant to take 5, we did it in 2. we are pretty much invincible).
