... Paris. I'm pretty sure she could also really get used to getting tapas with every drink she orders, and the siesta. I don't think she would complain about not having to go to work or school for the three weeks either. Reading outside in January while I'm at work seems much more appealing to her than going to school and work everyday back in cold Wisconsin, for some reason.

... and stayed there for the rest of the day, still feeling sick (now nauseous from the overload of super antibiotics I’d just taken). I went to the store and bought some groceries as I told him that I’d cook for him that night (always appropriate to reciprocate even a little with any host). I picked up groceries and cooked chicken curry and rice.

When he got home that evening we ate and then stayed up a bit too late watching ...

... self-conscious in Europe? Why don´t people dance like that in Europe?..... When can I go back???

The next morning, the sun came out in force in Rio to say goodbye to us, and we spent it on the beach with some cool drinks, and people-watched for a bit. Then on to the airport... so so sad to say goodbye to Rio, which was the most surprising and wonderful bit of our trip in the end.

A long, squashed, Iberia (bad food again!) flight later and we arrived in Madrid! And what ...

... up during the walk because we were unable to find each other. Since we don’t have phones, we made facebook plans to meet up at the ticket station of the metro station. We assumed that there was only one ticket station per metro...we were wrong in that assumption....so, we waited in the opposite ticket stations...
