Woken up at 7:30 by the sun streaming in the balcony window. So got up for early morning coffee then down to the Pacific Restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast went up on deck, sunny with a light breeze and we are heading to pass through the Straits of Gibraltar today. The ship is sailing closer to the Morocco side of the Straits so did not have a good view of Gib. In the morning we played deck quoits and shuffleboard without ...

... a price. Luckily, its a small price to pay, about 3 foot 9.

The two and a half hours a week I have the seven-year-old devil-children of Beginners 4, that's the price tag. There is the clammy cry-baby Juan Miguel who is in danger of actually taking out an eye with the under-wire in my bra he stands so close to me when I ask them to line up. I won't be book less! I couldn't imagine doing this trip without being able to lay on the beach reading! After leaving Arles, I took a drive through the camarge to an overnight stop on ...

By Jove, was it hot here! A decent pitch with good privacy next to the shore and the sea. But the heat and humidity were high as was the number of flies! Still, a great stop over despite that. It was so hot though that we decided to move on rather than have two nights there and we planned to head to Motril. However, en route, we decided to head for Torre del Mar, we had seen this signposted before and were told it was good so we headed there. A good decision it turned out to ...

      Costa Blanca

Well, that was a long and tiring journey on very busy roads. Not sure of the mileage yet though. In a huge and almost perfect campsite with many long term residents, immaculately set out and instant wifi. Superb sky at 1800 hours, cool beer and able to sit still and ...
