... was being held, so we arranged a late afternoon beach social with our visiting friends, so we could be near the restaurant for the time of the party. I dutifully wandered round town buying an appropriate girls gift, card and wrapping paper and then cycled straight from my Spanish lesson to the beach. Predictable Alex was asleep after being wiped out at school, so we woke him up. He'd apparently, "refused to wear, " his party outfit that Id laid out for him and so had ...

We have to make a couple of minor river crossings and, because of all the recent rain, there's ...

Though I hadn't ever taught with Dorothy, nor had I known her well, our paths had crossed at workshops etc. All couples seemed to be comfortable with each other, it was a good fit. The following morning we met for coffee on the beach at Pinball's ( more friends) then took in the local street market which gets set up ...

We reached our destination in time for beer and tapas for lunch and enjoyed the tiny streets and colourful shops and cafes.

The village is white and pretty and very hilly.

This was a lovely adventure!
