... we returned, we had a light & late dinner with Wendy & Jose and met another Canadian couple, Wendy's former principal and her husband. Though I hadn't ever taught with Dorothy, nor had I known her well, our paths had crossed at workshops etc. All couples seemed to be comfortable with each other, it was a good fit. My villa in Alhama is teeny but perfectly adequate. And when I say teeny I mean that I have to stoop to get thru the front door, and suck my belly in to get into the bathroom. Its a house within a street but its sooo quiet. I have a teeny secluded courtyard which isn't overlooked at all. However, the reason it isn't overlooked is that it has no view, just high white walls. But this is good because it forces me to go out and about and practice my Spanish.
