Our last Land Stop
The sun rose to a beautiful day as we approached Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Arrival time in Tenerife was 11:00 so we had a leasurly morning onboard. The temperatures this morning were in the low 70's, so today was the first day that we were able to eat outside of the Oceanview Café on the back deck of the ship. Richard will leave us tomorrow morning and we will top up the water tanks, fill up with fuel (and the 3 x spare 20Ltr Cans) and set off on the great adventure only 2610 nautical miles to Barbados!!!

The main commercial area has been pedestrianized so it was very pleasant roaming around the numerous tourist shops selling volcanic inspired jewellery or gorgeous silk handbags.
