Of course after each walk we stop for a cold beverage to talk and get to know one another a little better. Walking and talking, a great way to make friends!

... bit of paperwork (typical Spanish type) but we were able to take ownership of the car this afternoon. We returned our rental to the airport and took a taxi to the dealership.
It is now safely parked in our underground garage. Lars is busy thinking of a name for our wheels. I'm just excited to contemplate our next road trip. We may be headed for the south of France soon...Annelie and Jan, be warned!
Ok yet again we have been slack in updating the blog but life is to be lived after all.
Not all of you may know that we moved to Edinburgh in July last year and what a fab place. And also found a great Bikram yoga place that both Mr and Mrs Mac enjoy ( yes he goes too) A castle and Harvey Nichs what more could we want ? A great Hogmany followed by ...
... a bit, but finally we were on our way.
It's always a happy moment when we turn the key in the lock and see our sun-filled apartment with that lovely view of the sea. Our home for the coming winter months!
It didn't take us long to get settled. And to our delight, shortly after our arrival Vincent, Alexia and Madlyn came by to give us a warm hello....and a few minutes later Marie appeared to make their welcome complete!
... pretty little town where Mike discovered that he would like to die buried in a pile of French food...and French pastries...and French wine. Weirdly although I was on a quest to eat my way through Europe I am not a fan of French food...I know right? What a weirdo. From there we were off to Miramas to start our first workstay in France. So far it has been fun but more on that in the next instalment haha. Later Spain! ...
