... head several times! Before we could commence our great 620 plus kilometre journey we had to do a vehicle inspection as the poor little thing had sustained some damage. Free Day
... chance-encounter with some of our group, so I went back to Plaza Santa Ana to have some wine and some more food with them. It was a really cool place, and a nice evening atmosphere.
This will probably be the last entry I make before heading home tomorrow. While this day was a free day, today (the 23rd, as I´m writing this), is booked for us all to have a retreat together and process the whole trip. We´re going out for dinner and a flamenco show after all of it.

Bryan's flat and a stroll through Madrid
... stay all night (read of our experience in Segovia in a later chapter). They accept a trickle of other diners, who also promise to leave by ten.
The food and service is outstanding. I order mejillones al vapor and Bryan picadillo Asturiano, all washed down with pints of potent Asturian cider. Miryam picks at both dishes.
We leave well before ten and are in bed by ten thirty. ...
