... talked. Ryan and Weston all made some French friends. It was good train ride! We found a taxi and headed to the Generator! Check in was a little difficult, but we figured it out! Our room is an 8 person private room again, just a little more cozy! Everyone was very hungry so we walked down the street to a little hole in the wall place and got empanadas! "Best food we have eaten so far," states Brooke! It's 2:15am now so we are off to bed! ...

Hi Family and Friends

Early Roman settlement is evident in the area with ruins uncovered. You will see the Old City walls in the photos going back to the third century. Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and as the capital of Catalonia every second building is draped with the Catalonian flag indicating their desire for independence.(I resisted the urge to draw any reference to Queensland)

We started our final day in Barcelona with yet another stadium tour at Camp Nou, Barcelona F.C. stadium. I thought it was interesting to see the resources they have and learn some of the history of the club. Again Dean thought it was amazing.

... views are amazing. What did really impress me was the beautiful gardens in what was originally the moat!

Another beautiful place to see was the Catalonia National Palace which we return to to see the night fountain of lights!

We now call Placa de Catalunya our home Metro station which has it all! Fountains and pigeons!
