... for the other days, we walked up the Santa Barbara castle to see a beautiful view of the city, the mountains and the ocean. Did you know Alicante is a semi-desert?
We saw some ancient Roman ruins, which in my opinion should have been left untouched because they were restored to the point of looking too modern.

... 1912. The labrynth-like hallways and rustic charm of the place melds together nicely with the original stonework and renovated balconies, tilework and woodwork. Near St. Nicholas church and several plazas, there was always a place to get a drink and/or some food, which we did several times that night!
