... on Thursday, which as it turns out, is actually a really bad time to fly out. The first train that day doesn't get into Madrid until 10:30. Because of this, we are arriving in Madrid at 9:30pm on Wednesday, and then finding a way to entertain ourselves there (or sleep in the airport) until it's time for her to check in at 9:30am the next morning. So essentially....we have 12 hours of bumming around Madrid.
I'm not too bothered by it. I'm sad ...

We have browsed the quirky and beautiful shoe-shops, and we have found some wonderful places to experience the abundant life that this city has to offer, thanks to some top recommendations. Last night, after dinner at an arroceria (traditional Spanish rice cuisine), we went to a quirky bar (where we had the best Mojitos we have ever tasted), and then on to a club at the recommendation of some locals Madridians (?).... Madritians(?).... Madridos(?).... Madrilenos... ...

... because we didn’t purchase the correct adaptor. So we don’t even have walkie talkies now)....SO, Jenna ended up walking in the walk. Unfortunately, since I was waiting for Jenna, I missed participating in the actual walk. However, I still purchased a shirt and I watched the program afterwards.
