... I have come full circle. We started our adventure here on May 10 and we finish it here on June 2. I've included a photo of some of the places where we had our Pilgrim's Credential stamped along the way to Santiago. The memories are still fresh in my mind but when they fade I will have this travel journal to look back on. ... that sells them for €1 :) there was three of us so I was trying to order three beers but the guy behind the bar was saying, dos, no i want three! it went on for awhile and he only gave me two beers so i walked off and realised that we must only be allowed two beers per person haha, managed to get a table outside and did some more people watching.
Got home about midnight and fell asleep ready to get up early and pack for our next days trip to Pamplona :)

... home to one of the best-loved monuments in the whole of Spain; the tribute to Cervantes and his two enduring creations, Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. From there we walk back up the hill towards the Palacio Real, where we recall some rather fine restaurants.

And sure enough just a couple of doors up from Pepe Pepe, scene of the exploding glass door, we discover Taberna Del Alabardero where we have one of the finest meals we've ever eaten, whilst watching ...

... then visited the Palacio Real (royal palace). Since there was a charge to get even into the plaza in front (of course) we admired from outside. They certainly don't have palaces like that in Akron, Ohio. Even further down the street we went on to see the Don Quijote y Sancho Panza statue.
