      ... to ourselves until a Swiss cat came in behind us.

      Although the bouncing wasn't too pleasant, it eased as the wind dropped and the town was rather lovely, with a long seafront walk edged with palm trees and cheerful bars and restaurants. We could see a thunderstorm from our berth, but it didn't hit us so we could enjoy an evening stroll with positively balmy ...

      ... I'm still getting out of Spain! Easy drive north to the site I posted pics of on my way down. Not very adventurous am I but it is magnificent so why not? Swim. Hot sun very warm pool.       ... will resume in October. Actually so named after the owner, Mr Fox (or did they say another animal from UK ? ) Mr Badger has handed over the business to another English couple to run on a day to day basis but we met him tonight about to go out for a bike ride. A badger in a cycle helmet?! Another excellent meal. - pie night. All freshly cooked. Badger and leek not on the menu, however, but Chicken and leek a very acceptable alternative . And so back to Trace's for brandy on the roof ...

      A very relaxing day at the luxury apartment ! The Scotts all went to Almeira on a business trip and I enjoyed doing very little except chill on the veranda and read. No complaints there! In the evening we enjoyed one of Pete's speciality BBQ s with all the trimmings from Al. No one driving so no problems about alcohol consumption. To be fair the only problem we have is ...

      Pete and Al have reconnoitred an Anglican church about half an hours drive away with a lady minister, statues of our lady, a friendly English congregation and the preacher who has a daughter that taught at Turi in 1989 in the brand new senior school as the very first 'head of English. So must be worth a visit! A drive up into the hills and the  church of  San Pasqual is perched on the top of a hill with Eucharist at 11 o'clock. Got there ...
