    ... for them; Yes, the free market did displace them and move them out into newly constructed suburbs. But now they have jobs, and are living in new homes and their economy is booming and they are smiling. It was a tradeoff well worth the exercise, the tour guide said. Our "hotel" room, similar to several others we've stayed in since entering what was formerly East Bloc residential areas. I'm guessing at 700 square feet total.

    I guess it is official we just can't handle the alcohol jandel any more!! This is the place where Robbie and I decided to do a pub crawl, and we had a great time, meeting new people, going for a dance, having absynth and vodka shots. The aim of the game in the pub crawl is to drink as much as you can in the first hour.. Beer fills u up rather quickly lol so absynth it was!     ... tram, then the subway, then we waited, and waited and waited. Finally a bus came. It was not the bus that that the man from the pension suggested, but google maps said that this one took you to a stop just 300 meters away from the pension. Darn google maps, that bus stop was not 300 meters but closer to 3 miles away from our destination.     ... after sunrise so we managed to beat the crowds a bit. We had a lovely evening at the Don Giovanni opera at the Estates Theatre and even had our own private balcony. It's mums birthday today and we have lots of fun things planned for later in the day after we arrive in paris.
