We walked over to the first Pub which was called The Pub (Pilsner Unique Bar). This bar fulfilled one of the things I have always wanted to do. You sit at a table that has a tap in the middle and you can pour your own beer. I know it is weird that this is something I have always wanted to do, but I think it is neat having the tap at your table. The beer that we sampled here was unpasteurized beer. It was very good. A Fresh tasting Golden Lager. We each got ...

Beautiful buildings every which way you look and we had lunch at the Municipal house where there is a lovely concert hall. Prague has so many theatres and has a great musical history. Mozart was a frequent ...

... chaotic. At each end of the bridge are look-out towers, and lining the bridge are black statues. It was pretty. But far too busy! As we made our way to the eastern side, the views back up to the castle were really pretty. The streets from the bridge to the main square were packed with people and souvenir shops. I don't think I've ever seen so many souvenir shops - and all the same - t shirts, scarves, fur hats, glass items, magnets and absinthe. By now it was 4pm ...

A travel blog entry by rachaelmcneil on Sep 19, 2014

My first day in Prague and I was excited! I had to move hostels tho so got up had some free breakfast and checked out! It was a 45 minute walk to the next place and I decided to just walk it because if wasn't too hot and the exercise would be good and it would be a good way to see some of the city. Safe to say my back was not happy with me for that decision! I actually have bruising on my back for carrying ...

... waters. The picturesque view of the city is astounding. Crossing one of the bridges we enter the outer side of town and come across a sweet puppet shop. The puppets in here were so well done that they weren’t even completely creepy, only just mostly. We then wander along following the river and we come across what I am saying Is easily the best use of flowing water and street sculptures I have ever see. So ill let the video do the talking for me but it just amazed me that ...
