... a left out of the flashy tourist park, and walked for about 7 min, you came to the real equator and a tiny museum indicating this. A bit bizarre really.
We also had the obligatory night out in an Irish Bar (is there anywhere in the world where one does not exist?) and spent the following morning bonding with our hostel roommates over our shared hangover - donīt underestimate a couple of beers at altitude!

... We returned to town and walked back to Mariscal in the rain, which at times, turned into sharp pelting hail. We allowed our rain coats to dry out for a few hours while we continued our pursuit of blogging.
