We took a short ferry ride (1 hour) from Paros to Naxos and we noticed right away that Naxos island has a totally different feel and pace from Paros. Naxos city (also called Chora) is the largest city on the island with 6,500 residents and has been inhabited since 1000 BC. Just as you enter the port a huge marble arch greets you that is the former temple of Apollo. We were picked up at the ferry and drove a short distance to our ...

With the plan of a very chilled out night in our heads we decided ...

The sand has little speckles of silver through it and as the sun reflects off the silver particles, the sand glistens like glitter! I am absolutely loving the food here in Greece and I am trying to experience all ...

... then catch a ferry to Paros.”

Didn't take us long to decide to take this route. (Ha double entendre) Grasping our tickets in our hot little hands we quickly made our way to the “red ship”. It would sail at seven. It was 6:50. On board in plenty of time we found seats with a view and settled in with breakfast. We had, yes, A CUP OF COFFEE, well I had two, on the boat this morning. The Greeks have espresso but they also have life sized cups of brewed coffee ...
