... guy came in a small boat selling Magnum ice creams. Whilst that was the last thing I wanted just then, he offered to show us a good anchorage all to ourselves. Once we were safely anchored in the delightful spot, we bought 4 magnums from him for probably triple the price.

Next day we went early in the dinghy to the island, sometimes called St Nicholas Island. The Byzantine ruins of five churches built between the fourth and sixth centuries ...

After a chill night and yet another beautiful meal we enjoy yet more sleep... It's holidays after all! Finally late at night Tom, Amy and gorgeous Asher arrived and get settled. Basically a look at where the Collusus once stood, a trip down to Lindos with its Acropolis, via a ceramic place, and back up to the main city via Faliraki. It was pleasant and relaxing, the taxis were quite expensive (200€ each for 4 hours), our driver was nice but after Lindos on the return trip there wasn't much commentary. Liam was ...

... around the old town and walked around the old fort.

We didn’t really have enough time to do the full museum bit although it did look interesting and well presented.

The harbour below was jammed with yachts and other tourist boats with names like “Jolly Roger” and “White Whale”.
There were tattoo parlours on most streets. The Bazaar was huge and consisted of a maze of undercover ...
