Ringing the changes for breakfast - Jerry had the continental (all kinds of cheese and meat and a particularly odd looking sausage) and I had the French (bit of a shock when you're expecting a croissant and it's full of chocolate, but managed to struggle through more than I should).

To day was just about travelling to the boarder so I could cross it tomorrow, but as I was passing Sredets I was going to pop in in and say hi to Nock and Jo. Nick had already mentioned about staying the night but that was not the original idea. I was good to see them again so decided to stay the night and set of first thing in the ...

... of flattened chocolate doughnut... Then we finally boarded the bus, ten minutes before it set off.

We arrived in Sozopol thirty to forty minutes later and immediately began walking around. It was a beautiful day. We saw fascinating old wooden buildings, of a type neither Dave or I had seen before, and lots of old stone buildings with terracotta tiled roofs. We passed at least two street stalls selling fig jam, but neither of us bought any.
