Bathroom and the installation of the vanity basin. Chris, rightly was concerned that the basin and cupboard took up too much space. We agree. However, it is handy to have somewhere to clean your teeth into, and have toothbrushes and shampoo in. So we have decided to keep that. ... was really lovely. We ended up jumping out the plane last which made me a little more nervous seeing everyone jump and hearing the 'whooshing' sound!

... famous Wategos Beach. If you haven't been to Byron, then despite what is said about it being touristy and cliché, it's still worth a visit for its sheer natural splendour. A water playground where the forest meets the sea. We spent 5 days in the coastal area south of Tweed Heads and loved it. The next stop now is Yamba, the self proclaimed best town in Australia! Bold claim so it'll be interesting to see what it is ...

It's the 2nd Sunday of the month and luckily the local market in Tamborine is happening so we headed up to the area. Mount Tamborine is part of the gold coast hinterland that contains national parks with rainforest. We made our way up early so we could grab breakfast – German sausage and corn pancakes then walked around the stalls – by this point, 9am, it was ...
