After that we headed up to our room where we discovered that the hotel had sent us a bottle of wine, chocolates and a nice note to welcome us to the hotel. This was super awesome, although a bit entertaining if you recall from above that our clothes (including underwear) were strewn all over the room drying! Oh well :)

... found Gold Coast's Art Centre. I figured I might as well make practical use of my time and so I popped in and to ask if they had any jobs going. I figured I know a fair amount about theatres by now. The Art Centre was packed. It turns out that today was the day that immigrants attained their Australian citizenship, so loads of people were gathered in the centre all having their pictures taken, smiling and holding up certificates. Jo Ann woke me up at 3am. Which is very early.
