      ... there was delicious. Dev had a french style burger with lots of different cheeses, served in lettuce cups rather than a bun. I had a chicken burger which had mango chilli salsa, and was fantastic. We also shared some really crispy salty fries which were almost worth going there for alone! Thank you Retro Campers for the recommendation (they also mentioned a place called Betty Burger in Noosa which we will check out). Back ...

      ... advance, knowing which lane to be in. While roundabouts are efficient for moving traffic, I read somewhere that they are where most traffic accidents happen. I can understand that. The windshield wiper and turn signal levers are on opposite sides of the steering column to what we are used to. So, when making a lane change or turn, you accidentally turn on the windshield wipers.       ... when a single rider was needed.
      We did a tour around Surfers Paradise, in the car and on foot, we showed the kids the Indy race track, had a play on the beach and built some sandcastles, and got our shorts wet. On the way back to camp we checked out the Nerang BMX track and found out they were racing that night, so as expected a phone call was made and three bikes were sourced and we were due back for racing that night.       Considering surfers is just up the coast it's a stark contrast to Byron. Skyscrapers, McDonalds, hungry jacks etc. They are preparing for the commonwealth games here so a lot of places are being modernised. Even so you can tell why people love it.
