Amsterdam orientation tour showing the Mint Tower, Dam Square and Royal Palace. Saw a demonstration of diamonds being cut and polished before going on a canal cruise through the canals of Amsterdam. We arrived today in Amsterdam after a fast train ride at 300kmph from Paris. Trip took just over 3 hours.

The highlight of the day was at Paris international train station where we saw some soldiers with guns looking rather scary. Next thing to happen was who should go by but Kevin Rudd! He was chatting to his advisor.
