... was no way our flight would ever leave. But finally, they got us on the plane and flew us to Amsterdam. Luckily, the flight was pretty uneventful. Getting to the Amsterdam airport was like night and day compared to Rome. All of the signs were in English, everyone was very polite, and the airport was perfectly organized and immaculate. Again.. Packed up our day bags and out we went. We both were ready to move on but it was significantly cheaper to wait another day. So a relaxing day in the city it became. We ended up riding the tram around everywhere and getting off and getting on another. It was good for us. I ...

... Step 3: open museums and art galleries Now all of this isn't to say that each city doesn't have it's own unique appeal, I'm just having to look a little harder to find and appreciate it. And with that onto Brussels. Brussels is not a large city and I was able to fit in everything I wanted to do within one day. I had some chocolate leading me to the conclusion that while the plain Belgian chocolate is spectacular their fillings (ie a choc mint praline) leave a bit to be desired. So if ...
