A travel blog entry by cyclingcities on Jul 03, 2015

... at intersections a little disconcerting terrifying, the city won me over. But I was comparing it to, well, nothing. Okay, I suppose I compared it to what I guessed cycling would feel like in the U.S. (ie. somewhere between scary and my-life-flashing-before-my-eyes). On our final day in Amsterdam, we reunited with another old friend, Paul, just before boarding our overnight train to ...

Robina and Marie are both MAP 1 grads and our hosts for the Netherlands section of our EMEA visit. Once introduced, the five of us tried in vain to hold conversation while watching the epic game. We couldn’t quite see the TV because of ...

After a sleep-in, we caught the tram to the Rijksmuseum. We are staying at the Westcord City Centre Hotel and it is in a fantastic spot, about halfway between Amsterdam Centraal train station and the Dam. The queues for Rijksmuseum tickets were huge, but because we had our vouchers, we could use ...
