What is unique about Cuenca is that the eastern side of the hill is essentially a cliffside of maybe 300 metres down into a canyon with a picturesque little river, and more picturesque structures further up the canyon. ... in it's collection Picasso's 'Guernica'. It was a little rushed but always worth it to see the world class art museums.

I was also able to meet up with Pedro who I had met in Lisbon. He convinced me to have mojitos as according to him it was a cultural experience when in Madrid. Another big night out followed but this was a fitting end to what had been a great trip.

It was back to London the next day and then after a weekend break .... off to South ...
