    ... checking into the cruise, I did have issues trying to figure out how to meet up with Anne on the boat. Once I got on I went to our room which was pretty nice and I then went to the KLENK check-in area to help out.

    The ship was quite grand as I expected but it's hard to really imagine if you haven't seen it. I was quite impressed.

    Started to feel unwell in Palm Springs. As I said, I was struggling to get even 2 hours sleep a night. Also, even after just two "light pour" drinks, my head was starting to spin. My meds were knocking me sideways too, like they did when I first started taking them. I knew my road trip around the Deep South would be a risk, especially if I was still not sleeping properly.     ... as an arrival gift and made us feel very welcome indeed. The docks are huge as are the boats and one can easily spend a pleasant evening strolling the marina and looking at all the lovely vessels. Which is what we plan on doing tonight after the sacred cocktail hour
