Got up and checked out of the Camp-site but left our bags as we had a few hours to kill before our next bus journey. We walked along the board walk at the rear of the site and had went along the river. We had a sit down near on the beach then got some food before we set off for the bus stop. It didn't take us that long to get to Coffs Harbour and fortunately, we managed to get a bus transfer to the hostel from the YHA Driver as it would have been a ...

We are now in Coffs Harbour and the camp is right on the beach and very quiet, unlike the last camp where a coach load of teenagers arrived and took over the site, the kitchen was a no go area for ages so you had to plan your meals at a time they were out.
Sun is belting down and the Aussies are basking in the Ashes victory so have to keep quiet but hopefully we can at least win the next two just to shut them ...

The 30th was not the best of days, overcast and blowing 40klm winds from the south, however, the park nestles behind a line of large sand dunes on a peninsula formed with the inlet...the wind went straight over us. The 31st dawned as a beautiful day with a soft SW 6klm wind, clear blue sky and the rumble of the neighbouring surf.
