There is a huge amount of adventures to do here, we include some canoeing and a day bike ride through the most incredible mountains and fields of wild flowers to a Slovenian restaurant ...

... head off to meet a coach for our half day trip to Bohinj. There is a service bus that goes from Bled to Bohinj, but we had foolishly as it turned out, been persuaded that the ski cable car at Mount Vogel was a "must do" and was easiest to do as a half day trip(€31pp). There are about 12 people from our hotel who had been similarly advised so we get the bus and it is about 45 minutes of a very pleasant drive to Bohinj, a bigger lake than Bled but much ...

... but as we got a good deal we expected that, we have a pleasant balcony overlooking next doors trees and crazy golf so it is perfectly adequate. Our only gripe is that the lake rooms not only have a stunning view, they are also the only rooms with air con! we ask for a fan and get it, no chance of a move the hotel is full, so hopefully it won't be too hot.
