Just off the pier we found another city tour like we had taken in Barcelona, The City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off bus tour. With the double decker buses and audio through complimentary headphones, we got a first class tour at less than half the price of an excursion.

When we arrived it Manchester, it took absolutely ages waiting at the luggage carousel for our cases to arrive. Then it was onto the shuttle bus and back to the long-term car parking, where we picked up our Vauxhall Meriva for the drive back to Durham.
