... and through various medieval villages. We had lunch at a park in another medieval town (Llagostera) about halfway to our destination. We ended up at our hotel (Hotel S'Agro) located next to the beach in good time, about 3pm. Total traveling distance was a comfortable 43km. Along the way every person we passed was warm and friendly with a cheerful 'Ola' or some other greeting. ...

We caught the train to barcelona this morning. It took just over an hour. It was quite a nice trip, all along the water. We saw so many nudist swimmers and sunbathers of both sexes. They are not afraid to flaunt their bodies.

Cleaned bathroom, washed floor etc to fill our day while washing dried. Internet at the office only, very noisy. Very hot day, up ...

Spectacular thunder and lightening at about 2 a.m. and torrential rain - not a good sleep after all. Then......All set to leave camp for Barcelona. John was doing his usual "kick the tyres " truckie check before departure and found we had lost a wheel stud (sheared off). Robyn and I went grocery shopping while the boys took the wheel off and fixed it. So lucky we were in a level car park, and not on the side of a mountain road. 4 hours later, after a quick lunch, set off and drove ...
