The TM are mountains indeed. We have seen them higher, we will see them higher, but stil, they reach about 2.000 m.
They are in the middle of Cyprus and gave us half a proof of the fact, that Cyprus is indeed an island: just binkig around the main mountain, coming from the south, going over east to the north, gave us views of the sea in all three directions. ... course, the plants don't get water from the reservoirs, in any case not the wild plants in the mountains. Therefore, they will probably have a very short growing season: starting end of February, ending (with seeds or fruits) beginning of June. So they better hurry!
The green hides the harshness of the landscape. It is not difficult to imagine, how it will look like in August here: dry and dead under a burning sun. We will be somewhere else at that time.

... and rise to the challenge of how it is done in real life....we overflew the VOR right over the top of the field, headed out on a radial and came back on another for a full NPA.

Scenery was fantastic....the aiport even has full GAAP area full of light aircraft....we taxied in and left for a some fresh seafood and local wine!

... of the ship and anything worth to know for life on board by Lisa, we were getting ready for dinner. First, we took a drink at the bar and then enjoyed a very delicious dinner. The company at our table was nice and very international and we had some interesting conversations. Closing this day with a drink at the bar we went to bed tired and happy.

Our first impression of the ship: AMAZING!!
