Day 7 - Parma - Genoa - Cannes - Antibes
Most of the day was spent in the bus today. We spent the morning traveling from Parma to the sea port of Genoa, home port of the famous explorer Christopher Columbus. We reached the city at 13h00 and spent an hour and a half walking around the harbour area.

French Riviera: Nice, Monaco, Eze, and Antibes
... How crazy?! The city itself was also adorable. We walked the coastline and watched the ongoing sailing race and stopped at the local market that had fresh fruit, flowers, as well as, clothes and jewelry. After we had our fill of exploring, we posted up on the beach for about an hour. We left for Florence at about 2:30 and made it back before 9! Visiting the French Riviera was a great getaway weekend to see how the other half lives. It might be a while until I get back there - ha. ...
Glimpse of the High Life

Playgrounds of the Rich and Famous
... made up of rocks, not sand. The few locals that were on the beach were not topless (no matter how much I researched the matter), and certainly did not appear very comfortable as they spread their towels out on the stones. Like Hollywood, it appears that when the celebrities are not present, the place itself becomes a whole lot less compelling. We headed to a small outdoor cafe and enjoyed a cappuccino and croissant.
